ANNOUNCING RONEN's 29th SEASON
As a unifying theme this season, masterworks of Johannes Brahms will be prominently featured in three of our four concerts. Save the date. . .

Monday, December 10, 2012, for Echoes and Resonances: Songs of the Past, Sounds of Today. Jointly presented by Ronen and the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation (IHC), the concert will help to celebrate the re-opening of the IHC's newly renovated Sanctuary. IHC Cantor Janice Roger will be featured both as narrator and vocalist. This concert will be open to the public and free of admission charge.

Tuesday, January 29, 2013, for Masterpieces and Young Masters. A new educational program for Ronen will be initiated with this concert giving an opportunity to a young emerging talent to perform a chamber work side-by-side with Ronen musicians. Brahms' Piano Trio in B Major, Op. 8 will be featured. This concert will be performed in the intimate setting of the Wood Room of the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

Monday, March 11, 2013, for Brahms and the Moderns. Ronen will partner with the Music Department at the University of Indianapolis; the program will be performed in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center on the UIndy campus and is open to the public and free of admission charge. The concert will feature Brahms' Clarinet Trio (Op. 114), and a Wind Quintet by C. Neilsen.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013, for Schubert's "Trout" Quintet and a World Premiere by James Beckel. Our annual collaboration with the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) will feature 1998 IVCI Laureate, Svetlin Roussev, performing with Ronen. The program opens with a Brahms Clarinet Sonata and will feature Schubert's much loved "Trout" Quintet and the world premiere of a Quintet by James Beckel, a Hoosier Composer. The Basile Theater of the Glick Indiana History Center will be the venue.

We look forward to your joining our artistic directors, David Belllman and Ingrid Fischer-Bellman along with other Indianapolis Symphony musicians, at these four outstanding concerts.

Joyously Sharing Music
Our mission is to give music lovers an opportunity to hear both the small intimate works by great masters and the new, fresh, contemporary works for chamber ensembles in a setting that lets listeners hear and see music-making up close. Our presentation is casual with time for the audience to talk with the musicians after the performance.
