The 250th anniversary of our nation is celebrated in the season finale, including two trios for flute, oboe, and piano by American composers: Alyssa Morris’s “Coastal Kaleidoscope” and a new Ronen commission from John Berners, professor of composition at the University of Indianapolis. Dvořák’s “American Quartet,” composed while he was living in the United States, concludes our tribute to the stars and stripes.
