Rescheduled concerts from January, Ronen welcomes back (again) Indianapolis native Natalie Debikey Scanio (flute and piccolo with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra) for Doppler’s famous flute duet with co-artistic director Alistair Howlett. Also in the first half, a selection of arias by J. S. Bach arranged for flute, oboe and piano. Francis Poulenc’s extraordinary Sextet for winds and piano concludes the program.
